CIPLE A2 results: check your grade, collect your certificate and request a review
Check CIPLE results through CAPLE using your candidate code. Your online grade, A2 certificate and a request for re-evaluation are different steps. This guide explains each and keeps official results separate from educational practice.
Check your result with CAPLE
Open the official results page.
Use the candidate code from your registration.
Keep the information and confirm collection with your LAPE.
A re-evaluation request goes to CAPLE or through the LAPE within 5 working days after results publication. CAPLE gives a response window of 25 working days from that publication.
How do you check CIPLE results using your candidate code?
Open the official link at the start of this guide and have your registration confirmation ready. Do not confuse the candidate code with a payment reference or a password for another service. CAPLE’s FAQ identifies the candidate code as the information used for result lookup. If you cannot find it, contact the LAPE where you took the exam and identify the session and exam you registered for. Do not publish the code on social media or send it to our contact form. Personal lookup belongs on CAPLE’s service.

CAPLE’s FAQ directs candidates to the official results page using their candidate code. The online grade and the certificate are distinct outputs.
What do Insuficiente, Suficiente, Bom and Muito Bom mean?
Read the official grade first, then identify the document you will receive. A successful CIPLE result is a language qualification at A2; it is not a nationality or residence decision. The table summarises the published grading bands. When comparing your grade with a practice score, remember that this website does not reproduce the official assessment of written and spoken production. Use educational scores to identify skills that need work, without treating a multiple-choice percentage as a prediction of the real examination outcome.
What do Insuficiente, Suficiente, Bom and Muito Bom mean?
Grade
Published percentage
Suficiente
55–69%
Bom
70–84%
Muito Bom
85–100%
Confirmed by official source
For CIPLE, 55% to 69% is graded Sufficient; therefore 55% is the published threshold for a passing grade.
The Camões/UAB centre calendar distinguishes the exam date, expected publication of results and expected dispatch of documents. At this guide’s review date, the October registration deadline has passed; a future exam date does not mean registration remains open. Check your own centre’s calendar and messages before making commitments that depend on receiving the certificate. We do not publish unverified 2027 exam dates or guarantee that an individual document will arrive by post on a particular day. A scheduled dispatch and actual collection are different events.
Check scheduled dates and the centre-specific information.
The Camões/UAB centre calendar lists CIPLE on 5 November 2026, registration closing on 20 October, expected results on 14 January 2027 and expected certificate/diploma dispatch on 11 February 2027.
Where do you collect the A2 certificate, and is it a diploma?
The centre where you sat the exam is the point of reference for collection. The FAQ’s general collection window and a calendar’s expected dispatch date describe different stages: sending the documents, arrival at the LAPE and availability to candidates may not coincide. Before travelling to the centre, confirm the document is available and ask what identification to bring. A screenshot of the online grade should not automatically be presented as the original certificate. For CIPLE the appropriate term is certificate; CAPLE uses diploma for other levels.

CAPLE describes collection at the exam LAPE 15–20 working days after results; successful A1/A2 candidates receive a certificate and B1–C2 candidates a diploma.
What if the certificate is missing, lost or contains an error?
Send the centre a concise message identifying the exam and session, what is missing and which procedure you need. Delayed collection, a duplicate certificate and correction of personal details are different requests. The CIPLE page publishes exceptional services, including urgent issue and duplicates; check the current conditions and charge before paying. Do not copy bank details from an unofficial blog or an unverified message. Keep the centre’s reply and evidence of any additional request. Do not change the certificate yourself to correct a name or date.
Check exceptional document services and conditions on the exam page.
How can you request CIPLE re-evaluation, and by when?
If you disagree with the grade, consult the official page as soon as results are published. The request window is short and uses working days, not five weeks or a period beginning when you collect the certificate. CAPLE describes requests by email directly to it or through your LAPE. Re-evaluation does not mean selecting one response for an informal discussion: a different team re-marks all components. It does not guarantee a higher grade. Confirm the procedure, payment and examination identification through official contacts before submitting.

A re-evaluation request goes to CAPLE or through the LAPE within 5 working days after results publication. CAPLE gives a response window of 25 working days from that publication.
How should you prepare if the result was below your target?
Separate difficulties with reading, listening, writing and spoken interaction. Instead of repeating a test without reviewing errors, choose one skill and compare your response with the task. Official samples help you recognise the activities; our original exercises provide practice and explanations. Writing and speaking benefit from their own feedback because a multiple-choice answer cannot assess them fully. A further registration depends on published sessions, centres and available places, rather than a promise in this guide. Keep learning tasks separate from the official evaluation of your application.
Does a CIPLE certificate settle every citizenship requirement?
This page explains language-exam results and documents. It does not establish that a certificate satisfies every legal requirement in a citizenship application. Language evidence, new knowledge requirements and permanent residence need separate checks. If you will use the certificate in a procedure, verify the accepted evidence for your route and the application date. Do not send case details to look up an exam grade. Our contact form at the end is available for a general question, but we never need your candidate password or access code.
Official sources support the stated legal, language and certification facts. Plans, examples and checklists are independent editorial suggestions, not instructions from an authority.
